    Professor Gary Neal Hansen Receives CRT’s “Devotional Book of the Year” Award

    The British organization Christian Resources Together announced that they have honored Kneeling with Giants: Learning to Pray with History’s Best Teachers by Gary Neal Hansen (InterVarsity Press, 2012) with their award for “Devotional Book of the Year.” Hansen is associate professor of church history at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.

    University of Dubuque Inducts Two Members to Faculty Hall of Fame

    The University of Dubuque inducted two new members into its Faculty Hall of Fame on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Paul Jensen, associate professor of philosophy and religion, was recognized with the John Knox Coit Prize, and Leicester Longden, associate professor of evangelism and discipleship, was recognized with the William L. Lomax Award.

    Fourteen University of Dubuque students have been designated as Joseph and Linda Chlapaty Fellows for 2013. Selected by a faculty committee, the students will carry out their Fellowship projects the summer of 2013.

    Alumni Makes $10 Million Gift to University of Dubuque

    President Jeffrey F. Bullock today announced a $10 million gift to the University of Dubuque. The multi-million dollar estate gift, designated for student scholarships and the endowment of Heritage Center was made by a university alumni couple who prefer to remain anonymous.
