Group Fitness
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday during the evening in the CRWC Fitness Studio & Courts along with the Cottingham & Butler Fitness Center. There will be various classes offered.
There is open registration for all classes meaning you are able to attend as often as you wish. A valid and updated University of Dubuque identification card is needed in order to be given access to the facility.
*For spouses or dependents to participate in group exercise classes, it is $20 for the 6 month period.*

Yoga: Yoga is the well-rounded practice of poses and postures that encompass balance, strength, flexibility and mindfulness. Yoga is open to EVERYONE including all ages, physiques and coordination levels. Come and experience both the energy and relaxation yoga can provide.
Total Body Conditioning:
A mix class that will give you a great cardio workout using the track, bleachers, and our outdoor surroundings. We will also build strength using our own body weight doing exercises for our abs, arms, and legs. It will keep changing so you don't get bored! As always, there will be modifications to make it easier or harder based on your fitness needs and abilities.
Cardio Mix: This will be a 45 minute class, which will include about 25-30 minutes of a higher intensity cardio workout and about 15-20 minutes of some weights and abs. The class will change up weekly and can include kickboxing, jumping jacks, jump rope, jogging, plyometrics, etc... It will be very fun, but challenging so be ready for a good workout!
Spinning: Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called a spinning bike. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout. During the class you vary your pace -- sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body.
Triple Threat Workout: The class will be a mix of zumba, cardio kickboxing, and circuit. Each week one of the three different workouts will be the focus for 15-20 minutes and then you will do a little bit of the remaining two for 10 minutes each. This will never allow you to get bored and will always keep you and your body guessing as to what is coming next. Expect to get a full body workout, with the cardio kickboxing and zumba getting your heart rate up, and the circuit moves strengthening your abs, arms, and legs using only your own weight.
Cycle Flow: A class combining 25 minutes of intense cycling with 25 minutes of yoga to provide cardio, strength and flexibility all in one workout. You are welcome to come for the entire workout or just the 25 minutes of your choice.
