Intramural Supervisors:   

Duties and responsibilities of the supervisor:  1) Oversee facility operations in the evening. 2) Helps train new officials. 3) Enforces facility policies and procedures, maintains rosters, schedules, scoresheets, and set-up needs. 4) Makes decisions and takes action on safety and cleanliness issues. 5) Secures building and logs incidences. 6) Reports on facility equipment condition.

Intramural Officials:

Will officiate intramural sports at the University of Dubuque. There will be both elite and competitive leagues, if necessary. Currently, referees are needed for the spring semester. Individuals must have both the knowledge and experience in the sport(s) being offered. The hours are flexible and referees are paid $7.50 and $7.75 during playoffs/tournaments.

CRWC Fitness Center Supervisors: 
Job Description
The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the Fitness Center Supervisor position. This position is directly supervised by the Director of Recreation and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

• Supervising and managing the daily operations of the CRWC fitness center. 
• Enforce fitness center policies and procedures. Adhere and execute the department's risk management plan. 
• Clean and maintain equipment and fitness center.
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form. Execute equipment orientations.

Job Requirements
All student employees are required to be trained in First Aid, CPR & AED. For students that do not already possess these certifications, training will be provided by the department upon being hired.

CRWC Front Desk Supervisors:
Job Description
The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the Member Service Rep position. The Member Service Rep will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

• Member Service Reps are responsible for the day to day operation of the front desk and insuring quality customer service to members and guests alike. This includes providing member services, directing and answering questions, having common knowledge of facilities and programs offered, and keeping area clean and well organized.  The Member Service Reps report to the Director of Recreation.

Job Requirements
All student employees are required to be trained in First Aid, CPR & AED. For students that do not already possess these certifications, training will be provided by the department upon being hired. Other requirements related to the position include:

• Customer Service - Answer questions about facilities and programs 
• Knowledge of departmental membership policies - including eligibility and pricing
• Check ID's of all fitness centers users. Users will need FOB's to enter.
• Knowledge computer and phone systems.
• Competency in medical and weather related emergencies. 

Strong interpersonal communication skills

CRWC Facility Supervisors:  
Job Description
The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the Facility Supervisor position. The Facility Supervisor will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

• They are responsible for supervising activities in the gyms. They are expected to resolve issues, accidents and incidents. They should be sound in conflict resolution and management, have critical thinking skills, be a self-starter, and work well under pressure. The facility supervisor will set up and break down various equipment, enforce all Department of Rec Sports policies, assist aerobic instructors and maintain the condition of each area. The facility supervisor reports to the Director of Recreation.

Job Requirements
All student employees are required to be trained in First Aid, CPR & AED. For students that do not already possess these certifications, training will be provided by the department upon being hired. Other requirements related to the position include:

• General knowledge of Department of Recreational Sports facilities and program offerings.
• The check out & set-up of various equipment  
• Provide tours of the recreational facilities to new and potential members
• Knowledge computer and phone systems.
• Competency in medical and weather related emergencies. 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

     You must have CPR/AED and Standard First Aid certifications to work for the Rec Department. However, you may still be considered for the job before you have the certifications. You must be prepared to get certified by going to local American Red Cross classes if necessary.
