Welcome to the University of Dubuque!

On behalf of the entire Student Life department, I want to welcome
you to the UD family!  This is an exciting time as you prepare for the beginning of
your academic career at the University of Dubuque.

Spring classes begin on Monday, January 23, but please make plans to attend Spring Orientation on Friday, January 20.  Check-in for Orientation will take place in the Charles and Romona Myers Center lobby from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.  Orientation activities for students and their families will last from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 4:00 pm.  Lunch will be provided.

Many sessions are planned with you and your family in mind. You will have the opportunity to learn more about resources that will support you and help you to have a successful experience.  There will be a technology orientation to acclimate you to campus technologies including your email account and network storage.

Students living on campus will receive their housing information from the Office of Residence Life.  Resident students are asked to check in at Orientation first.  Residence Life staff will be present to assist you with checking into your hall.  To make other arrangements, or for any other questions specific to Residence Life, please contact them by phone at (563)589-3160, (563)589-3163, or by emailing rmerfeld@dbq.edu.
