Fall 2011 Classroom Technology Inventory | Special Event Technology Request Form
Media Services, located at 100 Van Vliet Hall, supports audio-visual equipment and instructional technology on campus. We offer training, video production services and support for classroom technology and special events.
Outlook Training Schedule:
Faculty and staff: Outlook training is scheduled for the following dates. All sessions will take place in Library Computer Lab 106 at 3 pm. Please complete this online form to reserve a seat.
New students: Outlook training will be part of the network and email orientation, which is scheduled during New Student Orientation. Check your schedule for more information.
Returning students: Training materials, including PDFs and videos, will be available online in the near future. Please stay tuned.
Department Updates:
- Media Services produced a short welcome video for the Charles C. Myers Library. The video is posted on YouTube. (8/2/11)
- Projector bulb recycling program. Media Services is now working with Projector Lamp Services to dispose of LCD and DLP projector bulbs in accordance with state and federal regulations. In addition, the plastic and metal housings, glass reflectors and remaining components are recycled or re-used. (7/28/11)
- TurningPoint users: There is an important update for Office 2010. If you are planning on using TurningPoint during Fall 2011, please contact Mike Willis so your office computer can be updated. All instructor computers in the classrooms will be updated by the first day of classes. (7/25/11)

- Nathan Ripperger was hired as the new Media Services Specialist earlier this summer, replacing Tyler Tollefson. Nathan comes to UD from Twister Pair Post Inc., and specializes in video production. Stop by the office and say hello! (6/1/11)

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Evening Support
When classes are in session late August through May, students are available from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday - Thursday to answer questions and assist with classroom technology. You can reach them at 563-589-3350, or by visiting Library 105.
