Corey Parr joined the Spartans as head women's softball coach in 2007.

He began his collegiate career as a standout at Oakton Community College, in Des Plaines, Ill. Parr then transferred to UD, where he was a team captain his senior year for the Blue and White. Coach Parr provided a solid force in the middle of the Spartan batting order, along with a strong presence on the mound. After receiving his B.S. in Health, Wellness & Recreation at UD in 2003, Parr stayed at Dubuque to be a graduate assistant for baseball coach Shane Schellsmidt while pursuing his Master of Arts degree in Athletic Administration from Loras College, which he received in 2006.

2009: 12-26 overall, 7-8 in Iowa Conference (6th place) *IIAC Tournament Qualifier
2008: 14-20 overall, 1-15 in Iowa Conference (9th place)
2007: 13-27 overall, 3-11 in Iowa Conference (7th place)
