Head Softball Coach MA, Loras; BS, University of Dubuque Email: cparr@dbq.edu Office Phone: (563) 589-3229 Fax: (563) 589-3425 Office Location: 118 Van Vliet Hall Biography - Click to close
Corey Parr joined the Spartans as head women's softball coach in 2007.
Many things have changed since Parr took over the softball program. 2009 marked the first time a University of Dubuque softball team qualified for the IIAC tournament. 2009 also marked the first time the softball program defeated three top-20 teams in the country in one season. The programs record book has seen changes as well. During his first three years his teams have set new school season records for triples (12 in 2007), home runs (8 in 2007 & 2009), runs scored (141 in 2009) and RBIs (120 in 2009). He has also seen his pitching staff set a new season record for strikeouts with 174 in 2007.
