The University of Dubuque is a private university offering undergraduate, graduate, and theological seminary degrees, and other educational opportunities with the intention of educating and forming the whole person. The University is comprised of individuals from the region, our nation, and the world. On-line programs and courses are an important strategy to achieving our Christian commitment of excellence in academic inquiry and professional preparation. The University of Dubuque's Graduate Studies currently offers the Master in Management - Aviation Leadership (MMAL) program in an on-line format.
Strategy on Expansion
Expansion of on-line programs is reviewed bi-annually by soliciting feedback through alumni and community surveys as well as environmental scans on market needs. Where there is an identified mission fit the Graduate Studies will conduct a feasiblity study to support launching new on-line programs.
The University of Dubuque is primarily be a residential campus serving mostly undergraduate students. Although on-line education will be an important, but small part of our mission. We anticipate the ratio of on-line students to on-campus students will be 1:25 with a potential growth of 3:25 by 2025.
