Available Scholarships for Nursing Students
There are many nursing scholarships available, some of which are tailored to students’ personal experiences and interests. Religious organizations, small businesses, large corporations, and public and private organizations all offer aid that can assist with tuition, books, residency or other education-related needs. The name of the scholarship is WaterGadget Scholarship, and we intend to help deserving students whose parents can't afford to support them financially. The scholarship will be awarded at a minimum of $1,250* to the successful applicant(s). It is open to all students in need. https://watergadget.com/scholarship/
Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship:
- The student should be above 18 years. And a valid document for the same should be submitted.
- The participant must be an enrolled student at the University of Dubuque. Proof for this is also required.
- The student must submit Scholarship Application Essay.

Custody X Change Scholarship
The Custody X Change Giving Program awards three scholarships to single parents each year. Our redesigned program now awards three students annually, one in the spring, one in the summer, and one in the fall. And, it does so each and every year.

IHERF Healthcare Career Scholarship
The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is proud to support the Health Care Careers Scholarship program. Available through the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, these scholarships of up to $7,000 ($3,500 per year for a maximum of two years) each have supported higher education for more than 450 Iowa college students. In 2018, we expanded our scholarship awards to 50 recipients and we will continue to award 50 scholarship awards. IHERF has supported higher education for more than 450 Iowa college students.

RAA Scholarship Foundation - Aviation
The Board of Directors of the Regional Airline Association, the industry trade association representing North American regional airlines, on May 7 ratified the establishment of the RAA Scholarship Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to support RAA’s scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in aviation.
RAA awards $16,000-$20,000 in scholarships annually to students in collegiate aviation programs. In 2018, RAA awarded four, $4,000 scholarships.

Flight Students: Mid-Continent Instruments & Avionics
Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics offers the annual "Pat Napolitano Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Technicians" to graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing their professional aviation technical education. A selected applicant will be awarded a $3,000 scholarship to be used towards their education.
LA Tutors $500 Monthly Scholarship
LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school and college students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, or another idea. The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.

- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent)
- Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada

The Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd Scholarship for Veterans and Their Families and the
TonaLaw Veteran’s Scholarship.
Both scholarships are awarded in the Spring and Fall semesters in the amount of $1,000.
Applications for the Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd Scholarship for Veterans and Their Families are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by December 31st for the following Spring Semester.
Applications for the TonaLaw Veteran’s Scholarship are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by November 30th for the following Spring Semester.

Hill & Ponton Veterans Scholarship
Joining the armed forces and serving your country is the ultimate sacrifice, so the team at Hill and Ponton are proud to give back to our nation’s veterans. We are now offering four $1,000 scholarships to help veterans further their education and enter a career field that would, in turn, help other veterans.
Our veterans’ scholarship program provides financial assistance to former U.S. military personnel pursuing higher education. Former members of the U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, National Guard, and Coast Guard are eligible for this assistance program following honorable discharge. Through this scholarship fund, we hope that former military members can pursue education programs and reach their goals.
How to apply:
- Applicants must be veterans of the armed forces and must plan to use their education to help fellow veterans
- Applicants must provide their personal information and a statement of 300 words or fewer on how the applicant plans to use his or her education toward helping veterans

Sallie Mae Fund Scholarship for Graduate Students
The Sallie Mae Fund, the charitable arm of Sallie Mae®, in partnership with Thurgood Marshall College Fund, has launched The Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for Graduate Students. Ten scholarships, totaling up to $100,000, are available for current graduate students from underserved or marginalized communities, including minority, low-income, and first-generation college students. The application window is open now through Oct. 25.
To be eligible, students must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident currently enrolled at least half-time at an accredited graduate level program. Interested applicants will be required to upload a short video. The Bridging the Dream for Graduate Students Scholarship is part of a $3 million commitment made by The Sallie Mae Fund to open doors for students from all backgrounds pursuing higher education.
