Winter 2021 Commencement - Undergraduate Studies
The University of Dubuque is committed to celebrating the academic accomplishments of its undergraduate and graduate students. Two in-person commencement ceremonies will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center. Graduates have been assigned a specific ceremony time:
11:00 a.m. - Undergraduate Studies
3:00 p.m. - LIFE Program and Graduate Studies

The ceremonies will be streamed live on UD Facebook, UD YouTube, and UD Media.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2021
Undergraduate Studies - 11:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m. - Graduates begin to assemble in Room 304, Heritage Center
- Graduates should arrive in full Commencement apparel.
- cap, gown, and tassel on the right side
- Personal items cannot be secured here; graduates should leave items with guests.
10:00 a.m. - Doors open to John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center
- Seating is non-ticketed.
- Face coverings are highly recommended.
11:00 a.m. - Commencement begins
