Men's Lacrosse Falls to Illinois Wesleyan on the Road

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse team fell to Illinois Wesleyan, 20-2, on the road Wednesday afternoon.

Down 19-0 at halftime, Tyson Svoboda and Joshua Berey-Wingate scored the only two goals of the third quarter for either side off an Efrain Rodriguez and Michael Julius assist, respectively. It was a tough outing for the Spartans (1-10, 0-3 CCIW), who were outshot, 50-21, and lost the ground ball battle, 48-19.

UD goalkeeper Kyle Mullins (1-9) collected 12 saves and a team-high five ground balls in defeat.
