Men's Soccer Lose on the Road

CHICAGO, Ill.- The Spartans men’s soccer team suffered their first loss of the season, by falling to North Park 0-2. 

The Spartans came into the game ranked 18th in the nation in the latest polls. Even in the loss, Dubuque outshot North Park 21-12. Although North Park only had four shots on goal, but they took full advantage of their opportunities as they found the back of the net on two of those four shots on goal.  North Park also did a wonderful job defensively on one of the nations leading scorers, Gonzalo Hernandez, holding him scoreless. Although Hernandez did find his way to get off seven shots, only one of those were on goal.  

The Spartans will look to rebound on Saturday afternoon as the begin conference play at Buena Vista at 3:00 p.m.
