INDIANOLA, Iowa - Formerly named the Simpson Twilight, the meet was renamed in 2006 to honor 1988 Simpson graduate and 2000 Olympian, Kip Janvrin. Janvrin is one of the most decorated performers, winning five national championships and 12 Iowa Conference titles. Traditionally one of the largest track meets in the Midwest, the 2016 Kip Janvrin Open event featured more than 1,100 participants from 49 colleges and universities around the nation.
