Women's Soccer Held to Two Shots in Loss

Oct 11, 2016

DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's soccer team was held to two shots on Tuesday night in a 0-2 loss to the Luther College Norse.

The Norse scored just prior to the end of the first half and would hold that one goal lead for most of the second half until a late goal in the 84th minute would find it's way past UD's Megan Moll who stopped five shots on goal. The Norse finished the night with 23 shots and held an 11 corner kick advantage.

The Spartans continue on the road when they travel to Pella, Iowa on Saturday to play the Central College Dutch (11-2-1 overall and 3-1 in IIAC) at 1:00 p.m.
