Women's Tennis Beats Beloit, Falls to Edgewood

MADISON, Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's lacrosse team traveld to Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday where they rolled past Beloit College 9-0 and dropped a match to the host school, Edgewood College, 3-6.
The Spartans had no toruble in their match against Beloit, having no match closer than three sets. Arantxa Martinez improved her singles record this season to 17-0, winning both of her single matches with realtive ease. Martinez pairs up well with Ines Albino in doubles action, as the pair move to 4-1 this season when paired together in doubles.
UD will travel to Luther College on Tuesday for one final tune up before the Iowa Conference Championships. The match on Tuesday begins at 4:00 p.m. in Decorah, Iowa.
