Wrestling Leads Early, Fall to Norse

DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque wrestling team jumped out to an early lead on Thursday evening, capturing four out the first five matches before the host Norse took the next five matches and the dual by a score of 27-14.
Printice Walls garnered the victory at 133 lbs. in a close decision 11-9 over Luther's Cody Hanson. Jeremy Melendez (141 lbs.) captured the 13-7 decison over Gilbert Valadez. Nicholas Meyer (149 lbs.) won by a 9-5 decision over Travis Ostby. Quincy Kalkbrenner technical falled Michael Suarez in 7:00 (15-0).
