Men's Golf Struggle in Windy Opening Round of A-R-C-Championships

2019 Men's A-R-C Championships Round 1
IOWA CITY, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's golf team fought through a windy opening round on Friday afternoon and sit in sixth place of the 2019 American Rivers Conference Championships after one round of play. UD finished with a score of 329 (+45) at Finkbine Golf Course.
Due to forecasted weather being unfavorable for Saturday, April 27, the second round of the A-R-C Men's Golf championships has been cancelled. Play will resume next weekend, May 3-4 with the final 36-holes at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln, Neb.
Brady Ellis led the Spartans with an 80 (tied for 13th overall). Kane Hyde and Garvin Paper both fired rounds of 82 (tied for 17th overall), Peyton Keefer finished the day with an 85 (tied for 30th overall), and Jordan Elliott had an 86 (tied for 33rd overall).
