Men's Golf Third at Loras Men's Golf Fall Invite

PEOSTA, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's golf finished with a first round score of 313 at Thunder Hills Country Club in the Loras College Fall Invite. The Spartans Jordan Elliott led all linksters by shooting a one over Par 72 to hold the first day lead. Elliott shot a second round of 80 to tie for second overall with a score of 152. UD finished third after finishing the tourney with a second round of 307 for a two day total of 620, just 10 strokes out of first place.
The Spartans next play at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Fall Classic at the Highland and Brute Courses in Lake Geneva, Wis. on Sept. 30 and Oct.1.
