Marianne Choquet was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, obtained a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Iowa, and went on to travel, live and work around the world. While abroad, she acquired a Certificat de Langue Francaise from the University of Paris-Sorbonne, and an M.A. in Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Barcelona, where she will return to defend her composite PhD dissertation in early 2013. After 23 years of being foreign, she is currently delighted to be an adjunct Professor at the University of Dubuque where she teaches Introduction to Writing. She writes fiction and non-fiction, her first novel, Lucy, Go See, constitutes the creative component of her dissertation. Her scholarly work has been published in Canada and Spain. Please join us.
