Over the last fifteen years, the University has invested more than $200 million in campus facilities thanks to the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends of the University. Every building on the campus is either new or has been renovated during the period. Our desire is to provide you with the living, studying, and recreating environments that undergird the University's goals to provide the best support for you in achieving your personal and academic goals.

University services are structured to meet your needs, but also require that you take personal responsibility and become an active partner.

Residence Halls

The University of Dubuque has three traditional residence halls for undergraduate students living on campus as well as six apartment style buildings for upper-class students. Chlapaty Hall - the newest residence hall opened in 2014 - incorporates a pod-style design intended to bolster close-knit communities. The Seminary Townhouses consist of 32 three or four-bedroom units for seminary and graduate students.
