Convocation for Thanksgiving and Remembrance 2022

Dear Members of the University of Dubuque Community,

As we journey through Lent towards Easter, we will hold the eighth Convocation for Thanksgiving and Remembrance at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center and on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. This is a moving tradition that provides an opportunity to recall our hope in the Resurrection and to remember those who have died this last year.

The worship service will extend through the regular chapel time with classes delayed until 11:45 a.m. This year's Convocation will feature guest organist Chelsea Chen, Artist-in-Residence at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in New York City. Additional musical leadership will be provided by William Bentley, Kristen Eby, and the UD Concert Choir. During this Convocation, we will remember UD faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, friends, and family who are close to our hearts. Let us as a University community remember them in our prayers and through our liturgy.

Please join in observing this tradition at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at Heritage Center or on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Rev. Jeffrey F. Bullock, PhD
President of the University
