Dessert Pops to Bring a Sweet Musical Treat to Campus

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque's Department of Fine and performing Arts will present Dessert Pops at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Blades Chapel, Blades Hall.

Dessert Pops will include modern pop and musical theater performances by students in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The performance will be under the direction of Kristen Eby, MM, head of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, director of choral activities, and associate professor of music.
A variety of delicious desserts will be served during this special music benefit that will support UD's music program. Freewill donations will be accepted.
"This event is a yearly favorite of our choirs," Eby said. "We get to highlight musical theater and pop styles and celebrate the talents of individual singers in addition to our choral groups."
Dessert Pops is free and open to the public. No ticket is required.
