DUBUQUE, Iowa - A weeklong celebration showcasing Dubuque's long history of providing students with a diverse choice of higher education opportunities returns this summer. The fifth annual Dubuque College Visit Week will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, through Friday, August 1, 2025.

Clarke University, Emmaus University, Loras College, Northeast Iowa Community College, and the University of Dubuque have partnered once again to offer in-person visits for prospective students to see firsthand how the educational experience can be transformative.

"College has the power to shape their future in ways that students can't yet imagine - and it's absolutely worth the investment," said Robert Broshous, MBA, vice president of enrollment management and dean of admission at the University of Dubuque. "There's no substitute for stepping foot on campus and experiencing it firsthand. Dubuque offers outstanding and diverse educational opportunities, and Dubuque College Visit Week is the perfect way to launch the college search. The experiences students gain during this week will help lay the groundwork for choosing the right college and career path."

Dubuque College Visit Week is an ideal time for rising high school juniors and seniors to focus on their college plans and get a closeup look at schools on their list with a well-planned, in-person visit to each campus. These visits are an important part of the college search process as students build a foundation of knowledge from which to choose their dream school - their campus home for years.

Dubuque College Visit Week offers prospective students the opportunity to tour campuses with student ambassadors, meet with professors about their academic area of interest, learn about student activities and programs, meet with admission counselors, and more.
