Tickets for Godspell may be purchased by visiting the Farber Box Office in Heritage Center, calling 563.585.7469, or visiting www.dbq.edu/HeritageCenter. The Farber Box Office is open 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 90 minutes prior to events.

What inspired you to get involved with theatre?

"Singing was my biggest inspiration to get involved with theatre. The first musical I participated in was in late elementary and I found something that I really love. Godspell is the first musical cast I have been in since middle school. In high school I was in the pit orchestra, but I am so glad to be back in the cast!"

What do you enjoy most about the rehearsal process?

"I enjoy being around others that share the same interests as me, and it has been so amazing to see the musical evolve into what it has become!"

What character do you play in Godspell?

"Godspell is unique because it is an ensemble-based cast. Everyone besides Jesus and Judas/John the Baptist get to play themselves. So, I am my own character on stage!"

What do you hope the audience will take away from the performance?

"I hope the lessons taught in the musical will resonate with all different people and that they can take those lessons learned and adapt them to their own personal lives."

What advice do you have for Spartans who aren't theatre majors but may consider participating in theatre?

"I say go for it! Personally, I am not a theatre major myself. I am a nursing major. It is especially important to become involved at UD because after graduation your career takes priority and you will not have as much time or have as many opportunities to do something new, such as theatre!"

In your opinion, what makes the University of Dubuque unique?

"UD is unique because the school makes it a top priority to get students involved with many things around campus such as clubs, music, the arts, and sports."
