Congregational Equipping Application
Strengthening Christ's Church by Equipping Congregations
Applying to the Congregational Equipping program is the first step in seeking quality preparation and training for contributing excellent gifts to the local congregation. Applicants may be individuals seeking equipping in a specific area such as Christian Education, worship leadership, the Bible, etc., or may be seeking training for commissioning as a ruling elder.
Admission Requirements for Congregational Equipping
Applicants to Congregational Equipping courses must meet the following requirements:
- No advanced degree, credentials or title are required
- Students must be able to complete the following estimated course work load: read 300-500 pages; write 7-10 pages, participate in course engagement 4-5 hours per week
- Students must have an email account and be familiar with using it
- Students must have a working internet connection, updated internet browser, and general internet navigation skills
Application Items Required
Applicants will need the following items to complete their application:
- Educational history
- Ecclesial affiliation
- Pastor contact information
- Application essay (topic provided in application)
- Letter of recommendation from pastor or judicatory official
- If English is not primary language, TOEFL score is required
