Spartan-Duhawk Dual Track Meet Sparks ‘New Tradition’

2014 UD/Loras Dual Meet Indoor Track Final Results
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque men’s and women’s track teams hosted the rival Loras Duhawks at the A.Y. McDonald indoor track in their inaugural dual meet on Friday, December 5.
The dual meet was a success and the Spartans showed progress through just a few weeks of fall training.
"I'm very proud of the work our team put in this semester. It was fun to see the fitness our distance crew is carrying forward from a great cross country season, the strength gained by our throws group, and the speed and power of our sprint, jump, hurdle, vault contingent in tonight's meet. We performed well and still have so much left to give as the season progresses. What a great meet!", stated Head Coach Chad Gunnelson on his team's performance and potential moving forward.
