#30-ranked Spartans Face #16-ranked Luther

DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque wrestling team has a busy Iowa Conference week. Thursday night the #30-ranked Spartans (7-10 overall in dual meets) faced the #16-ranked Luther College Norse (10-6 in dual meets) and came up short 9-30. Freshman Joey Cisneros gave the Spartans a 3-0 lead after winning the 125 lbs. match in overtime 5-3. Elton Turnage-Manuel battled to a 3-2 victory at 174 lbs. and Dominic Sterr earned the 3-2 decision at 197 lbs.
The Spartans continue their Iowa Conference duals on Friday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. in Stoltz Sports Center when the Simpson College Storm blow into town.
