Veterans for Peace presents Coleen Rowley and Ray McGovern

The University of Dubuque will host FBI Whistleblower Coleen Rowley and former CIA Analyst Ray McGovern on Thursday, September 24, 2015 for the first event of the "The Truth Shall Make You Free" speaking tour. The Iowa Chapter of the Veterans for Peace event will take place in the Charles and Romona Myers Center - Room 146 at 6:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. 

McGovern prepared the President's Daily Brief and also chaired National Intelligence Estimates during his 27-year career as a CIA analyst. Rowley is a retired FBI agent and former Minneapolis division legal counsel who became one of TIME's 2002 "Whistleblower" Person of the Year for her disclosures about some of the FBI's pre-9/11 failures. Between them, Rowley and McGovern have 51 years of service in the highest levels of the FBI and CIA.

The nine Iowa city, McGovern and Rowley Tour continues from September 25 to September 30, making stops in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls/Waterloo, Davenport, Parnell, Iowa City, Ames, and Des Moines.
