STORM LAKE, Iowa - Down two sets to none, the University of Dubuque volleyball team dug deep and won their final three sets in 3-2 victory over Buena Vista on the road Wednesday night.
The Spartans clinched their fifth-straight Iowa Conference tournament berth and snapped their three-game losing streak to Buena Vista. Karrah Davis finished with 13 kills to back up Basierak and also added three service aces and 10 digs to the mix.
The Spartans improved to 26-20 in the all-time series against the Beavers (16-12, 4-2 Iowa Conference) and won for the first time since a 3-1, 2012 victory.
