Wrestling Team Wins 7th Dual in a Row to Start 2016

Sheboygan, Wis. - The University of Dubuque wrestling team swept through the 2016 Lakeland College Muskie Duals with a 3-0 record. The Spartans have won seven dual meets in a row to start 2016. The final round of the Muskie Duals was cancelled as inclement weather in area forced teams to leave and get teams home safely.

The Spartans opened with a commanding win over Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) by a 39-8 mark. The University of Chicago battled the Spartans in the second round, but UD captured the match 25-17. The third round match the Spartans faced the host Muskies and won 39-6. UD improved their dual meet record to 9-4 overall.
