MONMOUTH, Ill. - The University of Dubuque women's soccer team got a goal early in the second half from Lexus Rose and that was enough for them to hang on and get the road win at Monmouth, 1-0.

How It Happened
-Despite seven shots in the first half for the Spartans, three of which were on goal, however, none found the back of the net.
-On their second shot of the second half, the Spartans finally got on the scoreboard as Lexus Rose scored off of an assist from McKenna Young.
-The Spartans kept up the attack, outshooting Monmouth 6-5 in the second half, but Monmouth's defense managed to keep them off them from getting any insurance goals.
-UD's defense limited Monmouth to just eight shots in the game and only three on net
-UD attempted four corner kicks to Monmouth's two.
