Men's Lacrosse Suffer Loss at Elmhurst

ELMHURST, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse trailed at the 13 minute mark, but just two minutes later would knot the match at 1-1. The host Elmhurst College Blue Jays would out score the Spartans 19-1 to capture the CCIW tilt by a 2-20 score.

Michael Julius and Michael Jango would each score a goal in the loss. UD would finish with 20 shots and 22 ground balls. The host Blue Jays would hold the edge in faceoffs 5-25. Keeper Kyle Mullins ended with nine saves in 45 minutes and Sam Kopecky grabbed five saves in 15 minutes of play. The Blue Jays ended with 47 shots and collected 37 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers.

UD fell to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in the CCIW as Elmhurst improved to 10-1 overall and 2-0 in CCIW.
