Herrion Honored With A-R-C Player of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – University of Dubuque running back, Mo Herrion, was named American Rivers Offensive Player of the Week after his big performance in UD’s 42-19 win over Luther on Saturday.

The senior running back from Elgin, Illinois carried the ball 17 times for 129 yards and scored four TDs. Herrion average 7.6 yards per carry in the 42-19 win over the Norse. With the win, The Spartans moved to 3-1 in American Rivers Conference play to sit in third place, one game behind first in the A-R-C heading into the bye week.

This is Herrion’s second career Offensive Player of the Week accolade, also earning the honor his freshman season on October 18th, 2015.
