Volleyball Placed in Chicago Regional

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NCAA announced the bracket for the 2018 NCAA Division III Volleyball NCAA Tournament on Monday afternoon, sending the Spartans to Chicago, Illinois to take on the University of Chicago on Friday night.
The University of Chicago ended the 2018 regular season with a 28-4 recorded and ranked 10th in the latest AVCA Division III Poll. The Maroons fell in their conference title game to 11th-ranked Emory. The Spartans and Maroons will be joined in the Chicago Regional by ninth-ranked Trinity (Texas), Aurora, 12th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan, Cal Lutheran, 13th-ranked Washington-St. Louis, and Cornell College.
The Spartans and Maroons will play the last game of the day on Friday at 8:00 p.m.; the schedule of the rest of the Chicago Regional will go as follows.
Friday, Nov. 9th
12:30 p.m. - #2 Washington University St. Louis vs. #7 Cornell College
3:00 p.m. - #3 Illinois Wesleyan vs. #6 Cal Lutheran University
5:30 p.m. - #4 Trinity University (TX) vs. #5 Aurora University
8:00 p.m. - #1 University of Chicago vs. #8 University of Dubuque
