Multicultural Student Engagement Pep Band for Volleyball

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque Multicultural Student Engagement staff has organized a volleyball pep band for our international students to help raise awareness and promote learning about cross-cultural issues, diversity, and equality among students, staff, and faculty in a fun atmosphere at volleyball games. A group of international students have provided a hand drum and a positive, exciting fan base for home volleyball matches the past couple of years.
The University of Dubuque's Mission by helping to build a community where diversity is appreciated and Christian love is practiced. With the belief that diversity should be embraced and celebrated, the MSE Office seeks to foster awareness, understanding, and sensitivity to the perspective of groups.
