Pronounced "B-Twins," Brazilian twins Walter and Wagner will return to Heritage Center for what has become a traditional kick-off to the Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series and UD's academic year. B2wins have been exciting audiences worldwide for years featuring lead electric violin and ukulele, joined by additional musicians playing piano and drums. They perform interpretative instrumental covers of popular music in a variety of genres, integrating humor, movement, and lively audience participation.

From the violent slums of Brazil, Walter and Wagner broke the mold of society by using music as a movement to bring about positive change. Their website states they used that force to defeat violence, poverty, depression, and cancer. Now they are on a mission to make the world smile. For B2wins, music is merely the tool to make the world a better place. Their onstage charisma hooks audiences of all ages and puts smiles on the faces of everyone they encounter.

Tickets for B2wins can be purchased from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Farber Box Office, Heritage Center, University of Dubuque, 2255 Bennett Street; by calling 563.585.SHOW; or by visiting www.dbq.edu/heritagecenter.
