Morgan Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

DUBUQUE, IOWA - University of Dubuque wide receiver Austin Morgan (Henderson, Nev./Foothill) has been named to the Week 5 D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware.
Morgan caught an Iowa Conference (IIAC) and UD record 21 passes in the Spartans 31-24 loss at Central. Morgan also finished the game with 221 yards receiving and a touchdown. He broke the previous record of 20 set by Michael Zweifel, the current Dubuque Wide Receivers Coach.
After four games, Morgan leads the IIAC with 40 catches. He is third in receiving yards (434), receiving touchdowns (3), and all-purpose yards with 547 (receiving:434, kick return:116, rushing:-3). His 40 receptions rank second in DIII for catches per game and fifth for total receptions.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will continue their Iowa Conference season as they travel to Decorah, Iowa to play Luther College (0-4, 0-1) on October 6th at 1:00 pm. The Norse lost to Loras College last week, 28-25.
