Spartan Men Place 24th at NCAA Division III Regional

NORTHFIELD, MINNESOTA - The University of Dubuque Men's Cross Country team returned to St. Olaf College for the 2013 NCAA DIII Central Region Championships. The Spartans finished 24th of 27 teams.
All seven runners competing for UD were freshman. Jordan Murray (DeWitt, Iowa/Central DeWitt) paced Dubuque with a time of 28:49.5 to finish in 129th place. Murray has led the Spartans for five striaght races. Second across the line for UD was John Fain (Naples, Itally/Naples) at 29:46.4 and 151st place.
