Women's Golf at Luther Fall Invite

DECORAH, IOWA - The University of Dubuque Women's Golf team prepped for the upcoming Iowa Conference Tournament with two rounds at the Luther Fall Invite on the challenging Oneota Golf and Country Club. The Spartans finished in eighth place. Freshman Danielle Brown (Burr Ridge, Ill./Hinsdale Central) tied for 14th place at +30 over par. A total of 49 student-athletes competed between the nine teams represented.
Lauren Smith (Spring Grove, Ill./Richmond-Burton) was the second best finisher for the Spartans with a +38 over par to take 27th place. Julianna Pople (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Linn-Mar) showed a best improvement for UD by lowering her score on day two by four shots to 93 to tie for 36th place.
