Apr 13, 2017

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque Flight Team will host its annual Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast on Sunday, April 30, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the University of Dubuque Hangar, Dubuque Regional Airport, 11000 Airport Road, Dubuque, Iowa.

Multiple aircraft will be on display including UD’s new Guimbal Cabri G2 training helicopter, Cessna training aircraft, Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque’s AirCare 3 helicopter, and the Dubuque Regional Airport’s fire truck.

Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, pancakes, applesauce, fruit, coffee, and juice. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children age 12 and younger, and free for pilot in command individuals.

The UD Flight Team has hosted the fundraiser breakfast for nearly 30 years. Funds raised will support the team’s participation in SAFECON (Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference), a regional competition sanctioned by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association. The competition allows students to compete against other flight schools in flight events that encourage student pilots to improve and enhance their flying skills.
