Head coach April Elsbernd was thrilled with her team’s performance saying, “It has been far too long since UD volleyball was able to beat UW-Platteville, and to do it on their home court was even more exciting!  It was a game of runs with serving and receiving being a key factor.  I’m very happy with how my team rose the challenge.  This year’s Spartans fight for every point, and I am proud of how hard they battle out on the court.”

In the nightcap versus Alverno, it was a balanced Spartans offensive attack that paved the way to victory.  Anna Runge and Karrah Davis led the way with six kills, right behind them with five kills were Alyssa Cose and Paige Harbort.  Jenna Runde led thing defensively for Dubuque with 11 digs.
