The University of Dubuque Summer School Program upholds the overall mission of the University of Dubuque in that courses offered fulfill the liberal arts core as well as requirements in major fields of study.  Summer courses are open to students of all ages who desire to catch-up, get-ahead, or expand their horizons in the pursuit of college-level learning opportunities.

Unless otherwise specified in the accompanying schedule, summer courses are scheduled according to the following session dates:

F2F Session 1

  • Face-to-face: Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 29, 2026 (four weeks)
  • No classes on May 25th

F2F Session 2

  • Face-to-face: Monday, June 1 - Friday, June 26, 2025 (four weeks)
  • No classes on June 19th

F2F Session 3

  • Face-to-face: Monday, June 29 - Friday, July 24, 2026 (four weeks)

Online Session 1

  • Online Session 1: Monday, May 4 - Friday, June 19, 2026 (seven weeks)

Online Session 2

  • Online Session 2: Monday, June 22 - Friday, August 7, 2026 (seven weeks)

Classes normally meet for four weeks in Face-to-Face Session 1, Session 2 and Session 3; some classes, however, may run for different durations than four weeks, so please pay attention to the published meeting dates. All Online classes (both Online Session 1 & Online Session 2) will meet for seven weeks unless otherwise specified.
