Certificate in Presbyterian Studies
Earn a Certificate in Presbyterian Studies
These are changing times marked by growing ecumenical collaborations. PCUSA communities may be welcoming those nurtured or trained in churches other than the Presbyterian or Reformed traditions. As these siblings share their gifts and engage in leadership, a course or several in Reformed distinctives may enrich engagement. For those seeking ordained service, such might be required to supplement other education. The Certificate in Presbyterian Studies is designed for those looking for a brief course of study in graduate level courses in subject areas that prepare students for leadership in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Recognizing the unique needs of those seeking preparation, the certificate is flexible and offered fully online. Students can start in any term, and they study alongside degree-seeking students taught be core faculty.
