A pet is defined as any domesticated or tame animal that is kept as a companion. No exotic pets are allowed. For health and safety reasons, no pets except aquarium fish, are permitted in any traditional or pod-style residence facility, apartment, house, or furnished commuter townhouse. Pets are allowed only in certain townhouses that are identified as "pet units," provided residents adhere to the following guidelines. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in forfeiture of University housing and pet deposits. Violation of the Pet Policy could result in fines exceeding $2,200. Residents are allowed to have no more than two pets in their unit.
