UD Movie Night on Chalmers Field

University of Dubuque alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to make it a night to remember at the annual UD Movie Night on Chalmers Field featuring Hoppers on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Attendees are asked to check in at the Alumni Ticket Table by Chalmers Field. Gates to Chalmers Field and the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center stadium will also open at 7:00 p.m. for first-come, first-served seating. Hoppers will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Complimentary popcorn and ice cream will be provided. Food will also be available for purchase at CyberCafe inside Heritage Center prior to the movie. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, popcorn, and ice cream may be enjoyed in the stadium and are not permitted on the football field.

Only bottled water and blankets are allowed on the field. Strollers, coolers, footballs, and other sports equipment are not permitted on the field.

In the event of rain or severe weather, the event will be held in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center.
