The University of Dubuque men's and women's track teams will be hosting their first indoor meet of the year on Saturday, Jan. 12 in Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center on the A.Y. McDonald Track.
Durnin Joins UD Football Staff

The University of Dubuque announced the appointment of Mike Durnin as Assistant Head Coach for the Spartans football team. Durnin joins the Spartans after being the head football coach at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, the past five seasons. He will enter his 26th year in the coaching ranks, and will be coaching the linebackers at UD.
Spartan Women Set Three School Records at Sol Butler Classic

The University of Dubuque Track and Field teams set four school records in their first meet of the season on Saturday afternoon at the Sol Butler Classic. The women's team accounted for three of those records in route to a third place finish with 84 points. The men's team set one school record and finished in second with 125 points.
Spartans Battle at National Duals

The University of Dubuque Wrestling team completed at the NWCA National Duals. As a team, UD went 0-3. Individually, Derek Mizaur went 3-0 at 174 lbs. Adrian Collier won the Open 141 as well.
Spartans Fall in Overtime

The University of Dubuque Men's Basketball team once again found themselves in a tight game that would be decided in the final seconds. The Spartans would lose to Buena Vista 70-68 in overtime.

Spartans Travel to Reno for UCS Pole Vault Summit

The University of Dubuque's vault coach Peter Dvorak will be attending the 2013 UCS National Pole Summit in Reno, Nev. on Jan. 17-19 with student-athletes: Brenda Breimon, Kashden Nelson, and Ben Clark. Dvorak will be speaking to attendees and the student athletes will be competing on Saturday, Jan. 19 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
