The University of Dubuque Men's Basketball traveled to take on Central College. The game would go down to the final minutes of action with UD taking the loss 61-58.

The University of Dubuque Women's Basketball team picked up its first Iowa Conference road victory of the season with a 77-71 win over Central. The win was the 11th straight for the Spartans over Central. UD improves to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the IIAC.

2012 Football Awards Program

The University of Dubuque Football coaching staff will be hosting the 2012 Football Awards Program on Sunday, February 10th (Note that this is a rescheduled date). The program will be take place in McCormick Gymnasium from 3:00-5:00 pm.

The University of Dubuque Wrestling team finished 3rd at the Max Servies Wrestling Duals at Wabash College. Chris Sokol, Brian Travis, Ryan Warczynski, Joseph Kubica, Derek Mizaur, and Logan Einerson all went 4-0.

Spartans Face #11 Simpson

The University of Dubuque Women's Basketball team hosted #11 Simpson College on Saturday afternoon inside Stoltz Sports Center. The Spartans and Storm treated everyone in attendance to a back-and-forth showdown with Simpson coming out on top 75-66. UD is now 12-4 overall and 2-3 in the Iowa Conference.

The University of Dubuque men's basketball team captured the Iowa Conference tilt today over the Simpson College Storm 84-57. UD trailed by four points early in the game, but hot shooting from the outside broke the contest open for the host Spartans.

Performing Arts, Worship, and Campus Center to be Named Heritage Center

President Jeffrey F. Bullock, today announced that the formal name of the Fine, Performing Arts, Worship, and Campus Center at the University of Dubuque is to be Heritage Center. The Center, sited at the corner of McCormick and Bennett Streets, has an expected move-in date of April 1, 2013.
