Women's Soccer Rank High in Standings

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's soccer team remains ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) North Region poll released this week. The Spartans dropped from 7th to 9th this week after losing a 0-1 contest on the road last Saturday. UD is 12-4 overall and tied for first place in the Iowa Conference with a 3-1 record.

UD's Tiffany Duncan ranks 4th in the NCAA National Statistics in goal keeper minutes played with 1,367 mins, and is ranked 69th in goals against average with .724. Teammate Katie Lynn is tied 53rd in game winners with three this season. As a team the Spartans rank 57th in W/L/T % at .733, 60th in goals against avg. with .711%, and 66th in shutout % at .533.

In Iowa Conference action, Kyleigh McLaughlin leads the league in total shots with 22 and in shots per game with an average of 5.50 a game. Megan Siepler is tied for fourth in goals with two. Duncan ranks second in goals against average with .77 in 349 minutes of play and ranks third in save percentage .786, in shutouts, and shutouts per game .25.
