Cain Leads Spartans at Annual BVU Open Wrestling Meet

STORM LAKE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque wrestling team was led by Ethan Cain (184 lbs.) who placed third and teammate Chris Nielson (184 lbs.) who placed sixth at the annual Buena Vista University Open on Saturday, Dec. 2. A very competitive field dominated the action on the mat and UD placed 13th with 36 points.

In the B Bracket: Zarik Anderson (149 lbs.) finished 3rd, Andrew Turner (165lbs.) placed 3rd, and Robert Melise (285 lbs.) was 5th. In the C Bracket Isaiah Williams (141 lbs.) was runner-up in 2nd place.
