ST. PAUL, Minn. - The University of Dubuque cross country teams ran in blustery November weather on Saturday and the women's team placed 20th and the men's team finished 24th overall in the NCAA Division III Central Regional hosted by Carleton College. The women's race 6K race fielded 215 runners and the men's 8K race had 200 competitors

The women's squad was led by Abigail ray who finished 98th overall in 24:29.8. Megan Ely was 115th in 25:53.4, Heather Muntz placed 119th in 24:57, Isabella Mazzanti 126th in 25:10.6 and Edith Flores 140th in 25:34.1.

The Spartans men's team was paced by Dalton Moore's 108th place in 27:12. Jacob Heitter placed 140th in 28:09.7, Joseph Tobin 146th in 28:21.9, Brandon Sindt 148th in 28:24.4, Tavian Rumple 153rd in 28:42.5, and Joel Avila 188th in 34:04.
