Men's Golf Second at Clark Invite, Mendoza Medalist

2018 Clarke University Spring Invite
GALENA, Ill, - The University of Dubuque men's golf team placed second in the 2018 Clarke University Spring Invite with a team score of 305. The Spartans trailed winner Waldorf by just four strokes.
Anthony Mendoza led the Spartans by claiming medalist honors after a scorecard tie-break after shooting a round of 73 on the Par 71 Galena Golf Club. Kane Hyde tied fior fifth overall after a round of 76, Jordan Elliott tied for 7th after a 77, Brady Ellis tied foir 12th with an 79, and Garvin Paper tied for 16th with a score of 80.
The Spartans blue team shot a round of 333 and was led by Peyton Keeffer who tied for 12th overall with a score of 79.
